Here are easy instructions on how to change the admin password on Netgear router :
- Open a web browser on any wireless device such as a computer, laptop, etc.
- Make sure the computer is connected to the Netgear router’s network.
- Type the www.routerlogin.net default web address in the address bar and hit enter on the keyboard.
- When a login page appears, enter the username and password.
- Look for the default login credentials of the Netgear device on the printed label.
- The basic home page displays when you click the Login button.
- On the router’s interface, select the “Advanced” settings.
- Select the “Administration” option under the advanced settings.
- Click the option “Set password”.
- On this page, enter your old password and then type a new password. Set a strong and secure password for the Netgear router.
- Tick on the “Enable Password Recovery” to recover the password in the future.
- Click the Apply button to save the new admin password.
